Welcome to another episode of the Triple Po! On the pre-ramble this week, I talk about how some redneck Trump supporter at a rally in Nashville thought it would be an awesome idea to wear t-shirt that extolled the virtues of slavery. Someone got a picture of this guy, and Facebook did its thing and found out who it was. Needless to say, the vast majority of commenters were not amused. I also remind my listeners of the impending approach of NaNoCon 2017. It will be coming March 18th, and tickets will are $15 up until the day of the event, and $20 at the door, or until all the tickets sell out. Don’t wait and miss out on the greatest secular event in Middle Tennessee!
On the palaver I speak to writer and activist Jessica Xiao. We talk about intersectional feminism, as well a peripheral issues such as racism, White privilege, the difficulty of getting people to take criticism, and so much more. Jessica is a tireless advocate for social justice, and she is a well-spring of knowledge. She may think she rambles, but her mind is so full of knowledge that it’s no wonder she wants to share it with everyone! I hope you learn as much as I did!
