The Triple Po has returned! Vacation took up two weekends, which is generally when I do the magic to actually make the podcast, but much to your delight I’m sure, I am back! This week on the pre-ramble I talk about my LA vacation, including thanks to those who helped me as well as some of the stuff I saw while I was there. It was great to be able to see the sights, as well as enjoy the lack of cloying humidity!
On the palaver, I talk to Louis Mendez, who, along with his trusty Toyota truck Finn, took me to many of the places I visited while in LA. We talk about the counterprotest we attended at Laguna Beach against the America First protest, including highlights and our reflections on its efficacy and success. We also talked about issues that surrounded the event, including the role of the police and the importance of nuance when speaking on these issues. Finally, we talked about our adventures while cruising around in his trusty truck in Southern California. It was a great conversation, a great trip, and I got to make some great people. I genuinely apologize for the long absence, but I am glad to be back. I missed y’all!
